Patna Taramandal also known as the Indira Gandhi Planetarium was again opened in February 2024 after renovation. This place is inaugurated by Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary. The construction of this place initially was started in 1989 and the construction cost at that time was 11 crore rupees. This place was open for visitors in 1993.
In 2021 the reconstruction work was started of this place. The total expenditure for the reconstruction is 31 crore rupees. Now this place is again open to the general public. The ticket price of this place is just Rs. 100/-. For kids from the age of 6 to 12 years, the ticket is Rs. 50/-. The 3D show in this place started on 10th April for all the people. You need to book your tickets one day before your visit.
